Women are diagnosed with breast cancer at alarming rates. One in eight women will face a breast cancer diagnosis in her lifetime.
Over 40,000 women die of breast cancer each year in the United States. Monroe County has one of the highest rates of breast cancer diagnoses in New York.

The Breast Cancer Coalition is a community-based, grassroots organization and the only full-scope breast cancer organization in the Greater Rochester region. The Breast Cancer Coalition provides support to those touched by a diagnosis of breast cancer, makes access to information and care a priority through education and advocacy and empowers women and men to participate fully in decisions relating to breast cancer.
The Pink Ribbon 5K Run is the only women’s race event in Greater Rochester. WOMEN, young and old, of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate in the 5K Road Race.
The Family Fitness Walk is open to all men, women and children…walkers, joggers, strollers, and fitness enthusiasts.
Come and join us!
Do it for mothers, daughters, sisters, and all women so that no one will every have to walk the Breast Cancer road alone. Every dollar raised stays in the Rochester community.

9:20 a.m. 5K Race Start Time

Race & Walk both begin near the Roundhouse Pavilion.
Pre-registration and packet pick-up is strongly encouraged!
Paket includes: Numbered Race or Walk Bib, T-Shirt, and Bandana. Race Bib will contain timing chip.
