About Citizens for Adequate Housing, Inc.

CAH believes that each person has a right to decent affordable housing. Toward this end we: assist homeless families in regaining their physicial and emotional health; support them in the process of restoring their dignity as persons, teach life skills focusing on economic stability, faciliate transition from shelter into affordable housing through rental or personal ownership; purchase and develop property in support of low income families thru our Communities Land Trust model; contribute, through education and advocacy, to the creation of communities characterized by mutual respect for all its citizens; and serve as a vehicle for individuals and the business community at large to become partners in the solution to homelessness.
