Go the Extra Mile 5K/ 1 mile walk
Details for the day:
Weather forecast: Mid- to high 60's and mostly sunny
Packet pickup/ same day registration: 9:00 am
Race starts at 9:30, with walk to start shortly thereafter
Activities for kids: Face painting, bubbles, balloons, and games
Basket raffle: themes including items from "The Savvy Chick", family game night, coffee, and more; Raffle tickets are 3 for $5, an arms length for $10
Prizes for the highest individual and team fundraisers.
The event will be held on the East Shore Trail at Onondaga Lake Park (access the Willow Bay entrance via Rte 370 at Long Branch Road).
While we had planned to have chip timing, unfortunately we did not reach our minimum number of runners needed to do so. As a result, we will be switching to self-timing for all runners, with awards for the first male and female finishers.
