About Glendale Volunteer Ambulance Corps

All of our members on the ambulance are certified NYS Emergency Medical Technicians or Certified First Responders. We also help out in the community as we have done in the past with graffiti removal, shoveling and sweeping of sidewalks for elderly residents. Through the use of the Western Queens Back-up System we also assist in the neighboring areas of Ridgewood, Forest Hills, Richmond Hill, Woodhaven, Jamaica Estates and Corona when they do not have a crew available to respond to a call in their area.
