The goals of the foundation are: to educate the public and promote awareness of new and cutting edge research; to create global research partnerships and alliances; to establish collaborative research efforts worldwide; to develop new and innovative treatments for the prevention of blindness; and to fund and support medical research and treatment for patients with blinding eye diseases.
