The Prostate Cancer Education Council founded in 1989 has coordinated the National Prostate Cancer Awareness Week for over a decade and has the mission to save lives through the education of men and the women in their lives, as well as the medical community about the prevalence of prostate cancer, the importance of early detection and the available treatment options.
