About Celiac Sprue Research Foundation

The mission of the foundation is to promote fundamental, clinical, and product-oriented research into Celiac Sprue, a lifelong hereditary disease resulting from intolerance to gluten. Notwithstanding its seriousness and wide prevalence (~1:200 individuals suffer from the disease), the disease is heavily under-diagnosed and has been largely neglected by the scientific and pharmaceutical community.
