About The Wellness Community - San Francisco East Bay

The Wellness Community's mission is to help people with cancer and their loved ones enhance their health and well-being by providing a professional program of emotional support, education and hope. Our weekly two-hour cancer support groups form the heart of the services we offer in Walnut Creek. We also provide cancer support groups in Spanish at four locations in Contra Costa County. Facilitated by licensed psychotherapists, these groups provide cancer patients and their families with a safe, emotionally supportive atmosphere where they can explore the difficult issues that follow a cancer diagnosis. Last year, we served 1,341 individuals.
