Brand New Clothes for a Brand New Life
Dignity U Wear provides brand new clothing to men, women and children in need. The organization receives the clothing from partnering manufacturers and retailers and distributes it through a network of nonprofit social service agencies, schools and other organizations throughout the United States. Dignity U Wear specializes in receiving, warehousing and distributing brand new clothing to people in need at absolutely no cost to them.
Since it was founded in 2000, the organization has provided more than 5.7 million pieces, valued at more than $101 million, to more than 390,000 people.
Donations help us meet the growing demand for the new clothing that improves self-esteem, fosters better school performance, helps adults with job placement and helps parents take better care of their families.
A donation of just $35.00 enables Dignity U Wear to provide 100 articles of brand new clothing.
Undie Sunday Undie Monday
Undie Sunday Undie Monday is an annual campaign to collect brand new children’s socks & underwear. The 2010 drive is March 14 (Undie Sunday) & 15 (Undie Monday)!
In 2009, businesses, faith institutions, schools, social groups, professional & civic groups, and individuals collected over 56,600 pieces, valued at $230,000 and raised $15,000 during the drive.
