Get Ready for COARC's 2nd Annual Polar Plunge!
The way this Polar Plunge works is Plungers (jumpers) email and/or reach out to all their friends, family members, coworkers, acquaintances, and enemies and ask for donations for their ridiculous stunt of jumping into a frozen lake in the middle of February.
Money donated for the Polar Plunge will help fund both COARC's Recreation Program and a new Playground for COARC’s integrated preschool The Starting Place.
COARC as a whole is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is expanding abilities, one person at a time, so individuals experiencing disabilities can achieve their personal goals. COARC provides an array of supports and services that benefit more than 500 individuals with disabilities. COARC is the Columbia County Chapter of NYSARC, Inc.
