For a tax-deductable donation of $1,000 or more, either as a single contribution or in total pledges collected, you will have the opportunity to rappel down the side of the First Federal Plaza in downtown Rochester, NY on Friday May 18th, 2012.  You don't need any special training.  Experts in this type of rappelling will conduct the event with very stringent safety regulations.  The money raised will go to support urban scouting programs, such as the 31 afterschool programs run in Rochester schools.  Your contributions will offer urban youth who desperately want and need Scouting the opportunity to fully participate.  The event was a lot of fun last year and a huge success, we hope that this year is even better, so join us in rappelling 21 Stories for Scouts.

*We require that you provide a $100 non-refundable deposit in order to secure your spot to rappel in the event, so please make that donation as soon as your page is set-up.  There will not be any money refunded to participants who sign up to rappel but fall short of their fund raising goal of $1,000 in order to participate.   All money raised will go to support the local Seneca Waterways Council’s scouting programs.
