Covenant House New Orleans provides shelter and services to homeless, runaway and at-risk youth 16 - 21. On any given night we have about 75 kids in residence. We have grown since our humble beginning in 1984 when we offered outreach and referral services from a leased office on Canal Street. Our 70-bed Crisis Center opened in 1987 and two transitional living residences, with an additional 25 beds, were added a year later.
