After 25 years as SPW, we have launched a new name and brand to better capture our youth-led mission - Restless Development.

Our mission is to place young people at the forefront of change and development.

Our goal is to engage young people in the least developed countries in wealth creation and productive work, sexual and reproductive health and rights - in particular HIV/AIDS and support them into decision making and leadership roles.

We believe this is very important. Young people make up over 50% of the world's population. They are at the forefront of the fight against HIV and AIDS, have the highest rates of unemployment and are often excluded from decision-making processes that affect their lives. We channel the indisputably positive power of young people to bring about real progress.

Our staff and volunteers are experts in youth-led development. We are driven forward by young people and young professionals around the world. Restless Development works full-time in India, Nepal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. We also have international offices in London, Melbourne, Lusaka, Delhi and Washington.

Our work reaches over 500,000 young people yearly at a cost £9 per young person. In the last 25 years our work has reached over 7 million young people. We have caught the attention of governments, donors and development agencies from around the world.
