Our mission is to catalyze transformative change that deepens the connection between people, place, and planet. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, we work to foster healthier, safer, more sustainable communities, breaking down barriers of race and class as we promote the green economy. Since our founding in 2006, our goal has been to create an inclusive job market that provides meaningful opportunities for low-income and underemployed local residents. As a social enterprise, we accomplish this mission by providing solar installation training, solar marketing internships for youth, transitional employment and staffing services with solar companies, and cooperative business development.
