This event will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak, MI from 7 am -12:30 pm. Registration begins at 7 am.
Cost: $35 Individual, $65 Group of 4 people, $25 per person for groups larger than 4.
Highlights include: Partnership with WYCD Young Country- come see Mike Scott afternoon DJ, a new and improved registration area, a morning walk through the Detroit Zoo, 5K-Chip Timed run, 1 mile fun run for the kids, silent and live auctions, raffle, kidzone - featuring clowns, magician, kids' auction, face painting and more, a new "Touchdown Zone" with Football Hall of Famers Barry Sanders and Lem Barney and Former Lion Lomas Brown, plus Dan Gheesling from the TV Show Big Brother 10, and Miss Galaxy Teen Michigan, Ashlee Dark. We will also have awards for top teams and fundraisers and COMPLIMENTARY ALL DAY ENTRANCE TO THE ZOO!
LIVE AUCTION: A 38' Boat Well at Bouvier Bridge Marina in Fair Haven MI, valued at $2600, an autographed red wing jersey signed by current and alumni red wings, Tour and sit-in at 105.1 with Jim Harper and his gang, a 3-some of golf at Oakland Hills, and many more!
Silent Auction: Many different baskets from family packages to romance packages, gift certificates to restaurants, black and decker tools, etc.
