                                           NOVEMBER IS

                               NATIONAL HOMELESS YOUTH

                                   AWARENESS MONTH!!               

                         Please help us make a difference!

Our 2nd Annual STANDUP-A-THON will be held on November 3, 2007 at the North Carolina State University Centennial Campus from 12:00 pm tp 4:00 pm.  The purpose of the event is to increase community awareness about youth homelessness,  to increase awareness about child abuse (the leading cause of youth homelessness) and to raise funds for our local street outreach program.

You can register as a PARTICIPANT to stand up in our 2nd STANDUP-A-THON ($10.00 per person, more if you obtain sponsorships for your standing efforts; $15.00 includes event T-shirt, first come basis), or PURCHASE RAFFLE TICKETS ($3.00/ ticket, $10.00/5 tickets, $20.00/12 tickets) or PROVIDE SUPPORT for our local street outreach program.

Please indicate if your and your family will be PARTICIPATING (indicate number of participants), PURCHASING RAFFLE TICKETS (indicate number of tickets purchased) or ASSISTING us in helping the homeless youth in the Triangle through a monetary DONATION.                                                                                                                                   Please provide this information in the box located at the end of the donation page.

IMPORTANT: We will need contact information (phone number or email address) if you are purchasing raffle tickets (for prize winning notification purposes only).  Please provide contact information in the message box (visible to STANUP FOR KIDS volunteer only).

We are an all-volunteer organization and all proceeds go directly to assisting the at-risk and homeless youth within the Triangle area.

                                            HOW CAN YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

                        Monetary contributions will allow us to establish:

             $500 provides funding for 2 weeks of street outreach 
          $100 provides one street outreach visit to 20-30 kids 
          $60 provides roughly 20 food bags (each provides two meals)
          $25 provides 100 kids with much needed water 

     College Foundation to help our kids obtain an education

       An Outreach Center to aid and assist youth in need by providing a respite from the elements, food, clothing, life skills and people who care
