About Western Indian Ministries, Inc.

Our mission statement is: to glorify God by making disciples of Native Americans, and training native Christians to be leaders in indigenous churches. Our primary outreach is to the Navajo Indian Reservation. Our main location is just east of Window Rock, Arizona, the capital of the Navajo Nation, in Tse Bonito, New Mexico. WIM was founded in 1938 by a pioneer missionary to the Navajos as a training center for native pastors. Today we reach out to share Christ's love to the modern Navajo and Hopi people.
