The National Endowment for the Arts recently released a study about the need for more arts programming. Their study found that people who participate in the arts are more involved in their communities. The study also showed that young adults (18-34) are not as involved in the arts or in their communities. MadCAP Theatre for Young Audiences performances inspire the youngest members of the audience to pursue an interest in the arts. MadCAP''s School of the Arts nurtures this interest and encourages each student to realize his/her highest level of artistic potential. In so doing, students are empowered as individuals to become more involved in their community.
