Suncoast Basset Rescue's 8th Annual Sweetheart Waddle will be held Febuary 13, 2010 at Florida Classic Dog Park in Brooksville, FL from 9am-4 pm.
2010 Registration will be done online---on this page. Please click on the REGISTER for an event button above to register your hounds. Registration fee is $10 per hound. Each registered hound gets a SBR bandanna to wear. This is their ticket to the days activities.
You can also solicit pledges by setting up your own personal fundraising page. You can email the link to your personal page and friends, family and business associates can donate directly. Please click on the CREATE YOUR FUNDRAISING PAGE button above.
The top male dog pledge earner will be named the 2010 Waddle King and the top female dog pledge earner will be named 2010 Waddle Queen.
Suncoast's Waddle weekend is a time for fun, frivolity, and fellowship. As a major fundraiser, the Waddle helps cover medical, shelter, and fostering expenses for hounds year-round. This year, the Waddle, occurring in Brooksville, Florida, is expected to bring together more than 300 animals and even more slaves for some "fun in the sun."
How can you help? Suncoast Basset Rescue is working with FirstGiving.com to allow friends of Suncoast to help raise funds online. Volunteers, foster families, friends, anyone willing to raise funds for Suncoast Basset Rescue can create a FirstGiving page and raise funds for the hounds of Florida. Better yet, create your page using the Waddle King and Queen link and enter your hound in the race to be King or Queen of the 2010 Sweetheart Waddle
