Thank you for visiting the fundraising page for the Reno Tahoe Choral Ambassadors program. In May 2011 Reno will play host to 40 of the world's best choirs for the American International Choral Festival. As ambassadors for this event, Sierra Nevada Children's Choir, McQueen High School Core Jazz Ensemble, and Bella Voce, a local women’s ensemble have joined forces as the Reno Tahoe Choral Ambassadors, to represent our country and our local area to over 100,000 musicians at the World Choir Games being held in Shaoxing, China in July 2010. In the past, the United States has not been well represented at the World Choir Games. Our presence in 2010 will not only help to encourage participating choirs from all over the world to see us as valuable partner in the global arts community; it will also lift the international stature of our local area.

The three groups are very excited and have joined forces to fund-raise together to help offset the cost of the trip. As Sierra Women's Ensemble, d.b.a. Bella Voce is a non-profit, 501-C-3 tax exempt organization, they have agreed to set up a special account to manage the funds. All donations will be tax-deductible and will be deposited in a Reno Tahoe Choral Ambassador fund. Your contributions are appreciated!
