Able Flight's mission is to offer people with disabilities a unique way to challenge themselves through flight training, and by doing so, to gain greater self-confidence and self-reliance. Since 2006, Able Flight has awarded 30 scholarships that have made it possible for people with spinal cord injuries and wounded veterans to become pilots. They are challenged mentally and physically during intensive training, and with their success, they not only change their own lives forever, but the way others see them.
