Mission: The Global Fund for Women provides grants of up to $15,000 to women's groups overseas. We support a wide range of initiatives that strengthen the human rights of women around the world. The circumstances and issues that women face vary widely across communities, religious traditions, and nations. As a result, the work we fund also varies. We believe that women themselves know best how to determine their needs and propose solutions for lasting change. Since its founding in 1987, the Global Fund has given over $26 million to more than 2,000 women's rights groups in 161 countries around the world.
