My personal message:

Thank you for visiting the fundraising page for the Cole County 4-H Program! We are getting ready for our Annual BBQ and DogFest on Saturday, May 2nd, from 10:30 - 2:30, where we'll have great pork steak BBQ, contests, demonstrations, vendors with dog-related items for sale and a Dog House Auction. This year we're adding a DogWalk, where you can help us raise monies and have fun too - dogs are invited, of course! If you are interested in participating in our DogWalk, please feel free to start a new page for yourself or your team. Just click on the link "I Want to Raise Money Too" above. Then send your new page to everyone you send e-mail, and add a link to your Facebook page if you have one. The festivities will be held at LU Carver Farm at 3804 Bald Hill Road, Jefferson City. Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m., and you can walk any time from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Also, please send us an e-mail at temmend@missouri.edu to let us know how many people will be on your team, t-shirt sizes and how to contact you, as the first 50 participants will receive DogWalk t-shirts. Prizes will be given to the team that raises the most money, and to the team with the most participants.

It is said, "It is better to build a child than to mend an adult." This, in a nutshell, is the main objective of the 4-H program. Through projects, trips and a variety of other activities, 4-H helps youth develop the following "Six Pillars of Character": Responsibility, Caring, Citizenship, Fairness, Respect and Trustworthiness

You can help the Cole County 4-H  program carry out these activities by making a donation through this website.  Any amount is helpful, as we have needs both large and small. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts.

If you're just not comfortable making a donation on-line, you can mail a check to the Cole County 4-H Foundation at the Cole County Extension Office at 2436 Tanner Bridge Rd., Jefferson City, MO 65101. Your donation will be listed on the webpage either way. And, if you'd prefer, you can use "Anonymous" or make up a name instead of your real name, and that's the way it will appear on the website.

Thank you for helping us develop young people with strong character in Cole County!
