My personal message:

Dear Beloveds,

We are participating in this run in honor of Guy Church in conjunction with the Jack Roth Fund, which Ady serves on the planning committee for. As you know, lung cancer is something that has directly touched our lives. Katie through the loss of Guy just this year and Ady through two of her close friends losing a parent too young to this disease.

Guy Church was a good man who worked hard and loved his family. He was the strong and silent type who was 63 years young when he left us too soon. He lost his valiant fight with lung cancer after only seven short months. Katie and Ady are running this race on May 31 in his honor.

We know we have a lofty goal, but we have never shied away from anything lofty! Please help us to raise funds for a disease that is as yet incurable. We hope in our lifetime there will be a cure - and we are doing our SMALL part starting NOW - won't you join us?

All donations will directly fund Lung Cancer Resarch.
