Description: The Dumb Friends League is the leading animal welfare agency in the Rocky Mountain region. We provide a variety of services for animals and people including animal adoptions, lost & found, behavior help line, dog training classes, humane education and cruelty investigations.

Mission: Founded in 1910, the Dumb Friends League is committed to the welfare of companion animals in the Denver metro area and beyond. Each year we provide shelter and care for more than 28,500 homeless pets. They receive shelter, food, veterinary care, love, attention and a second chance at a home. Our employees and volunteers work to place animals in new homes, reunite lost animals with their families, provide pet owners with animal behavior assistance, investigate reports of animal cruelty or neglect, provide humane education programs for children and adults, and reach out into the community with our services.
