About Children for Children Foundation
Description: Children for Children encourages young people to Grow Involved with their larger community by volunteering with friends, families and classmates, engaging in service-learning programs, and participating in giving programs that allow CFC to make grants to New York City schools serving socio-economically disadvantaged children.
Mission: Children for Children Foundation was founded in 1996 to encourage children to develop a sense of responsibility to their larger community. Through its programs, CFC not only raises funds to provide vital support to New York City schools, but also gives parents a vehicle through which they can help their children develop a sense of caring about and sharing with New York City's community of children. The funds raised by CFC are used to support programs and purchase materials for selected schools striving to provide quality education to inner-city children despite critical resource limitations.
