Join YWCA York and York Revolution for the 2nd Annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes fundraiser for YWCA York's, Victim Assistance Center (VAC) and ACCESS-York. Date: Friday, May 20, 2011 Location: Sovereign Bank Stadium, 5 Brooks Robinson Way, York, PA 17401 Time: Check-in begins at 4pm, walk to begin at 5pm, and York Revolution game begins at 6:30pm (food will be provided in the picnic area. Walkers ticket is included in the registration fee. Additional tickets may be purchased for non-walkers to enter the game and picnic area. Please contact 717-801-4478 for tickets.) Non-tax-deductible walker registration is $40. Student registration is $20. Women’s shoe rental fee is $10 (optional). Walkers who register before April 22nd are guaranteed an event t-shirt and gift bag. Walkers complete a one-mile course from the Sovereign Bank Stadium through downtown York and back to the stadium. Women are invited to register and walk with walkers to show their support.
