7th Annual Piece the Puzzle Autism Walk/ 5K Run & Resource Fair
Come join The Autism Society Greater Tucson; promote Autism Awareness and Acceptance at the largest Autism event in Southern Arizona! Autism affects 1 in 88 births in the US and 1 in 64 in Arizona. Help us raise the neccesary funds that support advocacy of appropriate services for individuals affected across the lifespan, and to provide information, education, disseminate the latest research and support to local families affected by autism.
The 7th Annual Piece the Puzzle Autism Walk/Run and Resource Fair will take place at the University of Arizona Mall® on Sunday April 7, 2012. Registration begins at 7:30am and the timed run starts at 9:00am the Walk at 9:30am. The event will feature a fun and competative 5K Walk/Run (timed option) and a 1K for families. We are proud to be a Southern Arizona Roadrunner Good Neighbor Race. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers overall and top three in 10-year age categories in competitive race.
Registration: Walkers- $17.00 Adult , $5.00 Children under 13 years old. Runners - $25.00 Adults $18.00 youth 10-18 years of age. Registration will be open until April 3rd, 2013, MUST register by April 1st to be guaranteed a T-shirt. SAR members receive a discount, use coupon code. Fee will increase to $20.00 for walkers and $30.00 for all runners the day of event.
Early Packet pick up - Friday April 5th at 2600 N. Wyatt Dr. in the florance manning hall from 10- 6pm. you can get your T-shirt, goodie bag and all things needed for the timed run.

Build a team; invite your family, friends and coworkers to walk or run on your team. Encourage out of town family and friends to participate. Create your very own personalized fundraising page while helping promote Autism Acceptance in our community. Awards will be given for different levels of participation achieved, largest team, most funds raised and most spirited team. ALL of the money raised stays in the Greater Tucson area.
The extensive Autism Resource Fair features many local autism resources including exhibitors and vendors. We will also have food, games, jumping castles, a raffle and much more! FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY at a safe and inclusive, accepting enviornment. Come build Awareness with the Greater Tucson Inclusive LEGO Building Club while supporting our mission of Improving The Lives of All Affected by Autism.
