Help raise money with Chicagoland animal lovers by doing something a little different - take a dip in Lake Michigan!  Register now and join ALIVE Rescue for our first fundraiser of 2013 - Shelter Shiver!  Supporters of ALIVE can participate as an individual or with a team in a variety of ways:

~ Shiver Swim (full plunge)

~ Chicken Dip (ankle deep stroll)

~ I'll Meet You at the Meltdown (virtual participant)

Shiver Swim & Chicken Dip require a $25 registration fee and participants will receive Stayin' ALIVE Bags full of goodies and coupons as well as a special gift noting you "survived" the Shelter Shiver. 

Prizes will be awarded: Best Costume, Best Team Theme and Top Fundraisers.  You must be 18 years old to participate in either the Shiver Swim or Chicken Dip and shoes are required (water shoes or slip ons recommended, please no flip-flops).  After the plunge, prizes will be awarded in the warmth of O'briens (1528 N. Wells Street).   Complimentary appetizers will be served along with drink specials for all participants.
