Join ASMT at the 2nd Annual Puzzlethon
Registration is NOW OPEN!
What Is It?
It’s like a Walk-a-thon, except participants raise money by doing puzzles: jigsaw, crossword, sudoku, word search; any type of puzzle! Individual and team competitions will be available - you can sign up at the event!
Why Puzzles?
The puzzle piece is the most recognized symbol of the autism community. Many individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder excel at doing puzzles. Through the Puzzlethon, persons with autism can enjoy meaningful and therapeutic social interactions doing puzzles with non-autistic individuals.
How It Works:
This year we will be holding the Puzzlethon on 3 different weekends at 3 locations:
Nashville: October 8th, 2011. 12pm-4pm. Belle Meade United Methodist Church. 121 Davidson Rd., Nashville TN 37205. (615) 352-6210.
Clarksville: October 15th, 2011. 12pm-4pm. Iglesia Bautista La Roca Eterna. 812 Tiny Town Rd., Clarksville TN 37042. (931) 801-0627.
Lawrenceburg: October 29, 2011. 12 pm - 4 pm. Coleman United Methodist Church. 322 North Military. Lawrenceburg, TN 38464.
You can register to raise money for the event, to attend the event, or to do both! To cover the cost of supplies, we are charging a small $3 fee for event attendees over the age of 5 who register in advance ($5 at the door). As always, creating a fundraising page is completely free of charge. You can click on the event page links to the right to register for the event nearest you, or you can call our office at 615-386-2077 to register by phone. Register today!
