2012 Team Healthy Kids - Chicago Marathon
If you have already registered for the 2012 Bank of America Chicago Marathon, you can STILL join Team Healthy Kids and Dean Karnazes. All runners who signed up during the 'open' registration period, are required to fundraise a minimum of $500 by October 31st.

- ‘Toe the start line’ with Ultra Marathon Man, Dean Karnazes

You’ll certainly be running for an important cause. Every dollar you raise will go to support our fight against childhood obesity. We hope you’ll be part of Team Healthy Kids and the more than 45,000 marathoners who will take to the streets on Sunday, October 7th for the 26.2-mile journey!

Finally...Please know that becoming a 'charity runner' for Team Healthy Kids and fundraising $1,000 is TOTALLY DOABLE. In 2011, the more than 10,000 charity runners in last year's Chicago Marathon raised an average of nearly $1,200.
