Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too! As most of you know, I retired from Sempra/The Gas Company the end of 2004. About ten years ago I found my true calling when I started studying energetic healing and massage. Now I work privately as a massage therapist as well as a volunteer for Heart Touch. I love The Heart Touch Project. As a Heart Touch Volunteer I provide compassionate touch and therapeutic massage to home bound and hospitalized children. I also teach families how to massage their children. Wow! How special to be able to put a little love on kids and ease their pain. It has been rewarding beyond measure to be able to work with the children and their families, giving and teaching massage and compassionate touch. I am grateful to have found such a fulfilling way to be of Service to those who are suffering. Our world community is closer than ever and it is time to help where the needs are the greatest. There are 380,000 Aids orphans living in Thailand, more than five times that of any other nation in Southeast Asia . Aids is the leading cause of death in Thailand Heart Touch is ready to reach out globally now to work with AIDS orphans in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. I am part of the team of Heart Touch Volunteers who will travel to Thailand this November 2006. This is an opportunity to extend our hearts and hands in an expression of compassion and peace. We will provide a great service because we will not only be able to share compassionate touch with the children, but also show the caregivers how to massage their AIDS orphans. In arenas such as this we need to embrace the people of the world as “One” rather than us and them. The lines that separate our countries are fading through our willingness to share a little compassion. There is no funding for this project. I am asking you to lend a hand by sponsoring me for this important work. Please visit http://www.hearttouch.org for more information on Heart Touch Project. Thank you again for your generous support!
