Please Remember, With Your Help...

We can give hope to people living with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (Alpha-1) around the world--as well as to the many thousands of people who may benefit from research on Alpha-1.

Please help fund the progress being made in the fight against Alpha-1 related lung and liver disease, and its eventual cure!

Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (Alpha-1) is the most common known genetis risk factor for emphysema, for this reason it is sometimes called "genetic COPD."

Alpha-1 can cause both lung and liver disease; lung disease being the most common. A simple blood test can detect Alpha-1.
