It's that time of year again!  The 2007 Wasatch Waddle is coming up shortly. 

Due to overpopulation, thousands of perfectly adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized daily in the United States.  When John and I first got Annabelle as a puppy, we had no idea such a travesty was happening.  In my search for information to help with Annabelle, I stumbled across the Daily Drool website and eventually basset hound rescue.

I was sad to learn that Utah had no real basset rescue that helped bassets of ALL ages.  I got together with a small group of my friends and Utah Friends of Basset Hounds was born!  So, not only do I love the cause, I have a personal investment, too!  Every basset hound that UFBH pulls from the shelter or takes in as an owner surrender allows another shelter dog to get one more chance at a good home!  So by supporting UFBH, you are helping other dogs, too!
