The Autism Project

The Autism Project is an organization committed to improving the lives of people with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and the many, many people who love and support them. We are parents, teachers, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists and other related professionals. Our programs for the children, teens and young adults include: a two-week summer camp Move, Think, Create, Communicate; Social groups for children with autism; Social groups for teens with high-functioning autism and Aspersger Syndrome; a grandparents discussion group; and support groups for parents of newly diagnosed children. In addition, we provide multiple levels of training for parents, professionals and caregivers on the disorder including the first introductory level training offered in Spanish in RI.
