BARCS 7th Annual BARCStoberfest


Located in Patterson Park!  Around the historic Pagoda!

This annual fundraiser for BARCS is a festival for animal lovers and is the canine social event of the year! The event is a fun-filled Saturday for the whole community (and their pets!) that helps to raise awareness and much needed funds for the 12,000 animals BARCS takes in each year. There is something for everyone at BARCStoberfest! We will have local artists & vendors, adoptable pets, animal health & welfare experts, pet demos, and more! 

Dress up your pet and take part in our Pet Costume contest.  The catagories are Best In Show, Best Baltimore Hon, Matching Dog and Human, Best Halloween Costume and Most Original.  The winners of each catergory will compete for Best In Show!

There will be games for your dog to enjoy such as, Best Kisser and  Smallest/Largest Dog.

Click on the event link  to sign up now to be a part of the Strut Your Mutt Walk. Once registered, you can build your own personal page with your own photos and goals. Ask your friends and family to support you in your fundraising efforts, and you can compete for the title of “Top Dog Pledge Raiser” and win great prizes! 
 
Remember, all proceeds directly benefit the homeless and abandoned animals at BARCS. 

The Strut Your Mutt Walk will begin at Noon on Oct. 22nd. Registration the day of the event begins at 11am. Pre-registration with at least  $40 in sponsors is required to guarantee a t-shirt. Registration will also be accepted on the day of the event, but t-shirts are limited at the event so we strongly encourage you to pre-register.
