VEN. BHIKKHU BODHI TO LEAD THE 2011
WALK TO FEED THE HUNGRY IN MICHIGAN
Join us in a walk of compassion! We'll follow a 3.5 mile route along the paved footpaths of beautiful Kensington Park in Milford, Michigan. You'll get to make new friends and enjoy the exercise while walking for the good of the world. One billion people live in chronic hunger. Two children die of hunger every minute. By walking and fundraising in support of the walk you can feed the hungry and save real lives. All proceeds will go to BGR's global hunger relief programs in Asia, Africa, Haiti, and the U.S.

TIME
9:30 am-1:30 pm (check-in at 9:30, walk starts at 10)

COST
Registering to walk is FREE, but there is a $5 per car entrance fee to the park

PROGRAM
Check-in starts at 9:30am, the Walk starts at 10am, followed by a picnic lunch, Dhamma reflections, and prizes, concluding by 1:30 pm.

DIRECTIONS TO START LOCATION
Kensington Metropark is located off I-96 just east of US-23. From I-96 take Exit 151/Kensington Road. After entering the park, drive 1.9 miles past the toll booth to the BayWoods Picnic Area on the right side of the road.

NOTES: a) You can skip “Want to be part of a team?” in the registration process unless you want to create a team or be on a team. b) At the end of the registration process, you will also be prompted to create an optional fundraising page for the event. Be sure to save your registration code if you want to create your fundraising page later.
