To insure the success of our mission, CCIA engages the following objectives: Community Mobilization - Definition of Critical Issues - Capacity Building. Established in 1991, CCIA is the private foundation arm of the Sixth Judicial District Department of Correctional Services in Iowa. The creation of this foundation is unique, particularly in the field of corrections. CCIA creates, supports, and administers diverse programs to promote their mission and objectives. The programs established and delivered through CCIA fortify community partnerships; empower offenders, families of offenders, and the victims of crime. CCIA is a strong proponent of prevention and early intervention and has developed and implemented two youth programs to signify this commitment, as well as orchestrating a Family Strengthening Networking with 13 area agencies.
