Community Health-in-Partnership Services d/b/a CHIPS Health and Wellness Center is a the place where uninsured and underserved people in the St. Louis metropolitan area can access primary and preventive health care services, regardless of their ability to pay. A dedicated volunteer team of physicians and other health and lay professionals work with the small core paid staff to deliver high quality comprehensive medical care. At CHIPS, clients are defined not by their illness, but by their ability to attain wellness.
In addition, our extensive community health outreach program goes into neighborhoods where people gather to provide health screenings and education and follow-up on referrals to reduce the likelihood of illness and prevent more serious health risk.
Today, CHIPS is the only free clinic in the
MISSION: To promote wellness and empower self health management for the uninsured and underserved through preventive and primary healthcare services VISION: Every member of the community will be assured access to available and affordable healthcare and social services to ensure the continued development of a productive, healthy community.
Services provided at the CHIPS Health & Wellness Center include Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Optometry, Chiropractic, Social Services and Behavioral Health, Complementary Health, Wellness Programs and Support Groups.
CHIPS In MOTION is an educational program that uses the performing arts to communicate health and wellness principles to community groups, and the CLUB CHIPS Youth Leadership Development Program trains high school students to be peer health educators.
CHIPS is not federally funded and is not required to collect the minimum access fees that must be charged by federally funded health centers.
