Your financial support provides food, shelter and medical care such as spay or neuter surgeries, important vaccinations, compassionate care and a safe place to stay until our pets are adopted to their forever families.
Remember to start fundraising early and be enthusiastic about what you are doing and your supporters will be enthusiastic about it too! Every penny you raise will go directly to the many stray, homeless and abused animals we care for every year. We hope these tips will help you achieve your goals!

Closer to Home Animal Advocates (CTHAA) is 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue organization located in Michigan. We find forever homes for Norwegian Elkhounds, Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, and sometimes other breeds as our hearts lead us. We are dedicated to placing dogs that have been abused, abandoned, neglected, or whose present homes cannot keep them any longer.
