Down Syndrome Association of Central California's (DSACC) mission is to enhance the quality of life for all people whose lives are touched by Down syndrome. We envision a community that demonstrates acceptance, inclusion, and appreciation for the estimated 1200 people with Down syndrome living in the central California region we serve.

We focus on educating the public about the abilities of and issues relating to people with Down syndrome. Their value in society is often erroneously overlooked or ignored by the general public because of century old myths, perceptions and misconceptions.
