The Down Syndrome Network of Northern Nevada (DSNNN) is a network of individuals with Down syndrome, their parents, families and friends.
The DSNNN hosts its annual Buddy Walk with the support of the NDSS, National Down Syndrome Society, to promote awareness and inclusion for people with Down syndrome and to raise funds for education, research and advocacy programs. Locally, the proceeds from our Buddy Walk help fund Family Gatherings, New Parent Outreach, Quarterly Newsletter, Community and Physician Education and Hospital Outreach.
The mission of the Down Syndrome Network of Northern Nevada is to create a positive understanding of Down syndrome. We provide events, information, education and awareness as we advocate for full community inclusion of people with Down syndrome and their families.
