- The purpose of the Tarrant County Buddy Walk is to promote awareness and acceptance of people with Down syndrome while providing much needed funds to support them in the Tarrant County and surrounding areas. Funds raised by the walk benefit the Down Syndrome Partnership of Tarrant County with a portion of the proceeds going to Green Oaks School. Information regarding the 2011 walk will soon be posted at www.dsptc.org. We hope to see you there!
