Didlake is a social enterprise dedicated to enriching the lives of people with disabilities. For more than 40 years, we have provided wide-ranging resources that expand opportunities for people with disabilities in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. Our support services include training that prepares individuals to enter the workforce and our award-winning Business Solutions provide jobs for many of the people we train. In addition, Didlake’s Personal Support Network provides long-term support for persons with disabilities who outlive their primary caregivers. Family members, business partners and community volunteers work with Didlake staff to promote awareness of the Didlake mission and raise money to support its programs. In keeping with Didlake’s vision of communities enriched by the inclusion of people with disabilities in valued social roles, Didlake has emphasized partnerships with other community organizations when shaping its fundraising efforts. For instance, for the past two years Didlake has participated as a Charity Partner with the Marine Corps Marathon.
