This time I'm running with a purpose
My wife, Colleen, qualified for the Boston Marathon, and I was completely ready to cheer her on from the sidelines -- with a Sam Adams in hand, of course! Sounds pretty good, huh? But then she popped the question: "Why sit on the sidelines when you can make a difference?"
That is the day I decided to run for charity, and soon after I ran across the fine folks at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Their mission struck a chord with me as I have relatives dealing with both loss of hearing and diminished eyesight. And MEEI has been nothing short of great throughout this process. You can read more about the hospital at http://www.meei.harvard.edu/.
So now I'm running with a purpose, and I'm hoping you can help out -- even it if is just a few bucks. Every dollar counts ... and it is TAX DEDUCTIBLE! Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts.
We both thank you for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
P.S. Colleen and I promise to run our butts off on April 21! No Sam Adams until after the race!
