The 2012 Walk for Children is First Step's annual signature fundraising event.  Registered walkers and teams are challenged to walk 100 miles in 4 months while collecting pledges and donations to  First Step.

 First Step is a private non-profit organization that serves nearly 1,800 children and adults with developmental disabilities each day.  First Step serves 27 counties in Arkansas.
