The Gandhi Foundation
(GFUSA) projects the philosophies of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., focusing on non-violent conflict resolution, community service, and social justice. GFUSA promotes awareness of the impact of Mahatma Gandhi on American society, particularly on the Civil Rights Movement. The Gandhian influence is reflected in Gandhi Foundation's programs and activities, and in the establishment of the Gandhi Room in the
King
Center
and in the installation of the life size Gandhi Statue at the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site on January 24, 1998.
Plans are on the drawing board by the Gandhi Foundation to establish its own Gandhi Center in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Historic District to create the Peace Triangle along with the Carter Center and King Center in the City of Peace-Atlanta.

1. Awards luncheon, May 10, at the Train Depot, Downtown Atlanta, by the Governor of Georgia, honoring Exe. Director Giriraj Rao.
2. Photo Exhibition by Carolyn MIller; " "Bridges-Human connection" at Rialto, Atlanta, April-May 2007. Three of the Gandhi Foundation members are being featured in the exhibit are Dr. Joy Berry, Mr. Giriraj Rao and Mrs. Raj Razdan
3. Dance-Drama-Play; "Path to Peace" at Rialto, Atlanta, June 23, 2007.
The Gandhi Foundation and Ekal Vidyalaya are presenting a multi media dance , music and drama concert "The Pathway to Peace" a multi media dance, music and drama concert by an international group with concert and choreography by Sridahar Shanmugam and Andrew Sterman, an associate of the famous American composer Phillip Glass who first introduced his American Opera "Satyagragha" at the San Francisco Opera Theater at San Francisco in 1985. The place is the famous Rialto center of Arts, Atlanta and the date is June 23 at 6:30pm. Ekal Vidyalaya, a pioneer oganization, has an impressive record of creating more than 20000 one teacher schools patronized by individuals with approx. $ 360.00 donation to provide education to rural and ultra rural (tribal) children in India, thus transforming Gandhiji's dream of education for all into at a reality.
4. Gandhi Birth Anniversary celebrations at the Gandhi Statue and Ebenezer Church, Atlanta, date and time to be decided around October 2, 2007.
5. Vist by Holiness Dalai Lama to Gandhi Statue, Atlanta, in October of 2007.
