The Gay Alliance based in Rochester, NY is a non - profit agency that has been the cornerstone of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and ally (LGBTA) community since 1973. Rochester has the 13th largest per capita population of LGBT in the nation. According to the last Census, Rochester has ~60% greater LGBT population than other US cities.
The Gay Alliance of the Genesee Valley is the only non-profit agency specifically providing non-HIV programs and services to the LGBT community in the Greater Rochester area, and its four adjacent counties.
