2012 Falmouth Road Race - TEAM GOSNOLD: WHERE THE RUNNING ENDS
TEAM GOSNOLD - RACING TO SAVE LIVES
Much like Recovery our runners need a TEAM to support them.
Each year dedicated men and women hit the road to raise money for Gosnold’s treatment programs. Some run to celebrate their own recovery or the recovery of a loved one, some run to memorialize a loved one, and all hope to educate their community and remove the stigma of addiction and mental illness. The commitment of our runners helps us to bring the diseases of addiction and mental illness out of the shadows, and encourage those individuals and families who still suffer to seek help.
Almost two thirds of Americans have friends or family members who have struggled with addiction. Millions of people are in recovery. They live in your town, on your block and in your home, but still many don’t know that addiction is a disease, that treatment works, and that long-term recovery is attainable.
Gosnold’s unwavering commitment to provide treatment to people in need, even those with limited resources has remained true for forty years! Last year, Gosnold treated over 8,000 patients, more than at any time in our long history, and supported the treatment of hundreds of men and women who lacked financial resources.
Please join Team Gosnold by giving generously to save the lives of suffering individuals and their families. Let us work together to help someone’s husband, wife, partner, child, brother, sister or parent be restored to the healthy and productive life they were meant to live.
Your contribution will positively influence our ability to help many more -- we hope we can count on your support.
TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
