HAWC provides prevention education and free, comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence and their children in 23 cities and towns across Massachusetts' North Shore. Services include: 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, advocacy, support groups, and individual counseling.
Sunday, April 26, 2009 - The Walk for HAWC is a five mile walk through Salem, Massachusetts to raise awareness and funds for HAWC. Pre and post-walk festivities make this a great family event - bring the family, the dog and all of your closest friends to help support HAWC. Each year, the Walk has over 1,000 North Shore participants. This year, we hope to raise $200,000 to support HAWC's free programs.
